Going Green is the way of the world these days, or so it seems, so why not help your residents (and your complex) find ways to do this...
There are several websites that can help find ideas that are doable. Changing the light bulbs we use, cutting off the lights when we leave a room, etc. are just a few simple ideas.

These are just a few sites that can help you pass along some ideas to your residents.

A Day in the Life of a Property Manager
It doesn't matter if you manage a 20 unit complex or a 200 unit complex, our jobs are basically the same:
Collecting rents, doing leases and lease renewels, making sure work orders are getting done, taking care of resident complaints, dealing with one excuse after another why the rent isn't paid, answering the phones, talking to prespective tenants, making deposits, moving residents in and moving residents out, paperwork, paperwork and more paperwork, interruption after interrupton, keeping your staff happy, keeping your boss happy, keeping your management company happy and of course, keeping your residents happy.
I created this site to help slow down the craziness (I hope) in your day-to-day life as a Property Manager.
Here you will find simple and inexpensive ways to retain your residents and motivate your staff and a little bit of everything in between. Hopefully, you will find (and share) a laugh along the way.

Thanks for the great sites! I've been wanting to go green both at home and work. Hopefully I can motivate my tenants with some of the ideas I got from the sites.
Great ideas and maybe we can get the residents involved in recycling their trash, etc. to help out..
